Cinnamon Bun and Granite Cliff
Tinny
Modern Ruin

Tinny
Puppy Love

This is an acrylic painting on 8 by 11 inch canvas that I recently finished painting. What is really interesting about this painting is that, close up, the brindle pattern of their coats does not look realistic at all. However, backing up, the coloration looks almost real. While working on this painting, I learned to keep working even if it doesn't satisfy up close because oftentimes, the answer is to step back and look again from there.

Rawr.

Here is another shot from the Central Park shoot. This one is in colour, and I cannot decide which I like better. She is facing the camera here which I think makes the shot completely different from the other one.

Jungle Cat. Rawr.

Whilst I was in New York Tinny and I did a whole bunch of photoshoots a few of which were in central park. This shoot was the day after Tinny and I got shirts from one of the only remaining artist groups in Soho, Missfits NYC. Hers had a leopard on it. We took a few pictures and this ended up being one of my favourites. She seems to almost merge with the surroundings but not blend in. It may be a bit pixelly, after I converted file types Enjoy
